Easy New Year's Eve makeup looks!

December 1, 2024 Julia spenadel

Makeup Look #1: Purple Eyeshadow (or Any Complementary Color for Your Eyes) and Sparkly Eyeliner

**Tools Needed:**

- Flat shadow brush

- Angled brush

- Black eye pencil

- Sparkly liquid liner

- Mascara

**Instructions:**

1. **Prep Your Eyelids:** Apply an eyeshadow primer to ensure your makeup lasts all night.

2. **Apply Base Color:** Using the flat shadow brush, apply the purple eyeshadow (or any complementary color) all over your eyelid up to the crease.

3. **Define the Crease:** Use a slightly darker shade of the same color to define the crease of your eye.

4. **Highlight:** Add a lighter shade or a shimmer on the brow bone and inner corners of the eyes to highlight.

5. **Line Your Eyes:** With the black eye pencil, line your upper lash line and waterline.

6. **Add Sparkle:** Use the sparkly liquid liner to create a winged eyeliner look over the black liner.

7. **Mascara:** Apply a generous coat of mascara to your upper and lower lashes.

8. **Finishing Touches:** Clean up any fallout with a makeup wipe and perfect your look.

Makeup Look #2: Bronze Smokey Eye

**Tools Needed:**

- Shadow brush

- Brown or bronze creme eye shadow

- Bronze eye shadow

- Black pencil liner

- Large fluffy brush

- Small blending brush

- Mascara

**Instructions:**

1. **Base Application:** Apply the brown or bronze creme eye shadow as a base all over your eyelid using your finger or a shadow brush.

2. **Layer with Powder:** Use the bronze eye shadow on top of the creme base with the shadow brush to intensify the color.

3. **Blend:** Use the small blending brush to blend the edges into the crease and outwards for a seamless look.

4. **Line Your Eyes:** Apply the black pencil liner on your upper and lower lash lines and blend it slightly with the shadow brush for a smokey effect.

5. **Highlight:** Add a light shimmer or highlighter to the inner corners of your eyes and just below the brow bone.

6. **Mascara:** Apply mascara generously to both upper and lower lashes.

7. **Finishing Touches:** Use the large fluffy brush to clean up any excess shadow and blend out any harsh edges.

Makeup Look #3: Sparkly Lips

**Tools Needed:**

- Long-lasting lipstick

- Loose glitter of a similar shade (in my case, pink)

- Sticky lip gloss

- Alcohol (optional)

- Large fluffy brush

- small fluffy brush

- Concealer similar to, or a shade lighter than your face

**Instructions:**

1. **Prepare Your Lips:** Ensure your lips are smooth and hydrated. Apply a lip primer if you have one.

2. **Apply Lipstick and Gloss:** Use the long-lasting lipstick to fill in your lips completely. Add a sticky gloss over

3. **Add Glitter:** Carefully dab the loose glitter onto your lips using a fluffy brush. If you need the glitter to stick better, you can lightly dampen the brush with alcohol (optional).

4. **Clean Up:** Use the concealer around the edges of your lips to clean up any fallout and define your lip shape.

5. **Finishing Touches:** Use a large fluffy brush to dust off any excess glitter from your face.
